Terms of Service

We provide interior and exterior painting, drywall installation and repair, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, roofing, siding, and general contracting services throughout New York, Long Island, and New Jersey. The specific scope of work for any project will be described in a written estimate or proposal provided prior to the start of work. Any work outside the agreed scope may be treated as a change order subject to additional charges.

Estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the information and property conditions available at the time of the visit or consultation.

• Estimates are not final invoices and may change if the scope of work changes.
• Unforeseen conditions (e.g., water damage, structural issues) discovered after work begins may result in a revised estimate, which will be communicated before additional work proceeds.
• Pricing is valid for a limited time as stated on the estimate document.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit may be required before work begins.
• Remaining balances are due upon completion of the project, or according to the milestone schedule outlined in the signed proposal.
• Late payments may be subject to a reasonable late fee as disclosed in your project agreement.
• We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice or proposal.

Project start and completion dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permitting, or other factors outside our control. Clients agree to provide reasonable access to the property, including utilities (water, electricity) where needed, and to remove or secure personal items in the work area prior to the start of the project.

We stand behind our workmanship and offer a limited workmanship warranty as described in your project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials (paint, drywall, roofing, and siding products) are provided by the respective manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship warranty. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or third-party work is not covered.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NY Construction & Painting Group LLC's total liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use or delays, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Clients may cancel or reschedule a project by providing reasonable advance notice. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been purchased or labor has been scheduled specifically for your project. Full cancellation terms will be outlined in your signed proposal or contract.

We take reasonable care to protect your property during a project, including the use of drop cloths and protective coverings. Clients are responsible for disclosing known hazards (e.g., asbestos, lead paint in pre-1978 properties, structural concerns) prior to the start of work so that appropriate precautions can be taken.

All content on this website, including text, images, and the NY Construction & Painting Group LLC name and logo, is the property of NY Construction & Painting Group LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. Photos of completed projects may be used for marketing purposes unless a client requests otherwise in writing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
